I never liked Mario games. But I'd have to say this was an exception. Despite the lack of game stages, it was really fun to play. Mario Party is
like a board game. There are different types of games you could play. You could play Story Mode - which is a story where Bowser shrinks all the mario
gang and they have to rescue people in need of help by winning a board game and becoming the superstar. The superstar gets to defeat the bosses of each stage.
If you don't win and the computer becomes to superstar, then they'll lose to the boss so you'll have to make sure you're the one who is winning.
Unfortunately, there are only 5 bosses altogether. It was a bit challenging to play at first, but after you keep playing you'll find it quite easy.
Then there's also the multiples of minigames which are really fun. It makes use of the touch screen, stylus, microphone and everything really well.
Some are quite hard to play, and requires a lot of strength trying to spin or push a button. But I'd have to say that the DS does get people tired easily
because of the interactiveness of the touch screen.
After playing many different modes, you can gain Mario Party Points. The more you have the more badges you get. And if you complete Story Mode with
each character you also get to gain a badge with the character picture on it. I always play with Peach. I know she's girly but she's the only one who
doesn't make me super annoyed. Like Daisy. Why is her voice so loud anyway? It makes me want to pull my hair out. And Mario is always speaking in
Italian which really annoys me. This is why I hate Mario games.
Basically this game out of all Mario Games this is the 2nd best. Mario Kart being the first of course. So I'd say this game would be suitable
for those who aren't Mario fans and those who are Mario fans. It's easy to play and doesn't require you to run through levels and find a lever. Good for
when you're tired and need something to ease yourself with.
